Step 1 of 5

What is your realistic phone budget?

Pick the total phone cost you are comfortable with. Older or refurbished models can still be good values, but we will flag what to verify.

Step 2 of 5

What matters most?

Choose the feature you would least want to compromise on.

Step 3 of 5

How hard do you use your phone?

This helps avoid recommending too little battery, memory, or screen for your habits.

Step 4 of 5

iPhone or Android?

This is a hard preference for many buyers, so selected systems are filtered first.

Step 5 of 5

Which network does it need to work on?

Unlocked phones score well, but carrier compatibility still needs to be checked before buying.

How we match phones

The quiz uses the published phone database, not a hardcoded list. It looks at budget, iPhone/Android preference, carrier fields, battery, screen size, performance clues, camera specs, 5G support, release year, support window, and available product data.

  • Budget buyers: older phones can still be good, but battery health and software support matter.
  • Used phone buyers: verify IMEI, unlocked status, return policy, seller history, and exact storage before paying.
  • Carrier compatibility: unlocked is helpful, but it does not guarantee every network band or carrier feature.
  • Result scores: match scores explain fit for your answers. They are not fake reviews or product ratings.
